Terms of Use

Last updated: 13 July 2026
This is a working draft written to match how Away Break actually operates as an affiliate travel search site. It has not been reviewed by a solicitor — for full legal protection, please have a qualified professional check it before relying on it in production.

1. About Away Break

Away Break (away-break.uk) is a travel search and comparison website. We help you find hotels, flights, car hire, tours and holiday packages, and connect you to third-party travel providers ("Partners") where you can complete a booking. Away Break is not a travel agent, tour operator, or booking platform — we do not process payments, issue tickets, or take responsibility for the fulfilment of any booking.

2. Bookings are made with our partners

When you click through from Away Break to book a hotel, flight, car or tour, you are leaving our site and entering into a contract directly with the relevant Partner (such as Booking.com, Skyscanner, RentalCars.com, or Viator). That booking is governed entirely by the Partner's own terms and conditions, cancellation policy, and pricing — not by Away Break. Any issues with a booking (availability, refunds, cancellations, quality of service) must be raised directly with the Partner.

3. Accuracy of information

We aim to display accurate, up-to-date pricing and availability, but this information is supplied by our Partners and can change without notice. We do not guarantee that any price, availability, or offer shown on Away Break will be honoured by the Partner at the time of booking.

4. Accounts and "My Travel Plan"

Creating an account lets you save listings to a personal travel plan for your own reference. This is a convenience feature only — saving an item does not constitute a booking, reservation, or confirmation of any kind. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site, including attempting to scrape, copy, or republish our content, interfere with its operation, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

6. Affiliate relationships

Away Break earns commission from qualifying bookings made through links to our travel partners. This does not affect the price you pay. See our Affiliate Disclosure for details.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Away Break is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site, or from any booking, transaction, or dispute with a third-party Partner. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

8. Intellectual property

The Away Break name, logo, and site design are our property. Content sourced from Partners (images, listings, pricing) belongs to those respective Partners.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

11. Contact
